TWEED'S Restaurant, located in the historic John J. Sullivan Hotel,
is purportedly the oldest running Irish restaurant/hotel
in Suffolk County, even operating during prohibition.
Besides celebrating St. Patty's Day, TWEED'S is commemorating
the 84th anniversary of the end of prohibition as well.

The menu has a varied selection featuring local Long Island favorites as well as a fine selection of Buffalo dishes. My favorite is the Buffalo Ruben sandwich. My wife likes to try different dishes each time we dine here, but I CANNOT resist their Buffalo Ruben. The wine selection is very nice, but a little pricey. Overall, well worth the price paid for the quality and quantity of food. We'll be back very soon. Now, my mouth is watering again.....
